FAQs
What is a snow globe vs a lava tumbler?
Snow Globe Tumblers feature fully filled, suspended or continuous movement with glitter and/or shimmer effects, depending on the flow and add-ins you pick, dancing throughout.
Lava Tumblers feature a layered "lava lamp" effect, with the lava, oil, and effects in continuous movement, based on the flow speed and add-ins you pick.
Can I add mica or chrome powder to my custom snow globe or lava tumbler?
Mica and chrome powder creates a beautiful shimmer effect, but it can settle and clump in lava or oil over time. If the tumbler is left sitting for extended periods, it may require significant shaking to fully redistribute the powder.
For best results, mica or chrome powder is recommended for tumblers that will be used or moved regularly (daily use).
What should I do if my mica powder or glitter clumps or gets stuck in my snow globe tumbler?
Shake vigorously for 5–10 minutes to help redistribute. A massage gun can also be used to help break up clumps more effectively.
What should I do if my mica powder or glitter clumps or gets stuck in my lava tumbler or the flow is very slow?
Turn 10-15 times to help redistribute and get flowing again.
